PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To resolve problems with magnetrons commonly used to generate microwaves in microwave ovens and other microwave applications, such as problems of typically requiring a relatively high voltage power source (e.g., 4 kilovolts or more) for operation, having limited lifetimes in some cases, and being susceptible to output power degradation over extended periods of operation, although magnetrons are well suited for use in microwave ovens.SOLUTION: An adaptor for a solid-state oscillator and related microwave adaptors include: an input segment 312 of a conductive material; a first coaxial portion 302 that includes a first inner conductor 320 coupled to the input segment 312 and a first outer shielding segment 338; and a capping portion coupled to the first coaxial portion 302 to electrically couple the first inner conductor 320 and the first outer shielding segment 338. |
