The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a wireless communications system capable of appropriately taking into consideration interference, etc., from a plurality of transmission points and determining channel quality information; a base station device; a user terminal; and a wireless communications method. The wireless communications system comprises: a plurality of base station devices that transmit reference signals for desired signal measurement and reference signals for interference measurement which are for measuring channel status; and a user terminal that communicates with the plurality of base station devices. Each base station device has: a determination unit that determines resources to which the reference signals for desired signal measurement and the reference signals for interference measurement are each allocated; and a phase control unit that phase-rotates a symbol for the reference signals for interference measurement. The determination unit controls so as to allocate the reference signals for interference measurement to the same resource as reference signals for interference measurement sent from another base station device. The phase control unit controls the symbol for the reference signals for interference measurement so as to have a different phase-rotation amount from other base station devices.
