The plant (1) has a pipeline arrangement guiding a fluid heat carrier medium i.e. thermal oil, in a heat carrier medium circuit (13). The heat carrier medium circuit is thermally coupled with a water/vapor circuit (3) and a turbine or turbo set (4). The medium circuit and/or a steam generation stage (2) and/or the water/vapor circuit are attached or thermally coupled to heat accumulators (6, 6') i.e. latent heat storages. The heat accumulators comprise an electrical heater (14) attached to a public, external electricity main (7) and/or a power plant-self electricity generator (7'). An independent claim is also included for a method for storing electrical power in a solar-thermal power plant.
