The fuel-powered vehicle heating system (10) has a burner arrangement (18) with a combustion chamber (20) for combustion of a fuel-combustion air-mixture. A fuel supply system (22) is provided for supplying fuel (B) to the combustion chamber. A combustion air supply system (28) is provided for supplying a combustion air (L) to the combustion chamber. An exhaust gas discharge system (34) discharges combustion exhaust gases from the burner assembly. The fumigation emission suppression arrangements (38,40) are assigned to the combustion air supply system or the exhaust gas discharge system. The fumigation emission suppression arrangement comprises an air filter arrangement (42) having an activated carbon filter unit (44).
