The combustion chamber assembly (10) has a combustion chamber (18) that is provided in combustion chamber housing (12). Several combustion air intake openings (34) are formed in the peripheral wall (14) of housing. The air intake openings are formed in the combustion chamber with respect to surface normal to the peripheral wall along inclined opening longitudinal axis, such that no residual radial opening surface is present when viewed in the direction of the surface normal. The angle of inclination of the intake opening with respect to the longitudinal axis is in the range of 40-70[deg] . An independent claim is included for a method of manufacturing combustion chamber housing of combustion chamber component.
