The housing has a cover (1) for closing a housing base part (2). The cover is pivotally supported at the housing base part by a pivot (3) i.e. spherical pivot. The cover is transferable into a closed position and an open position by a pivoting movement and a linear displacement movement. The pivot and latch arms are arranged at a side surface of the cover. The cover comprises rear handles (7a, 7b) i.e. C-shaped bent hooks, for back hooking the cover on the housing base part. The handles are arranged at another side surface of the cover. The pivot comprises an elongated formation.
