PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft connection mechanism configured to reduce rattling noise or vibration to be caused by impact of a reversing output rotating shaft of an electric motor, transmission of brush vibration of the electric motor to a steering wheel, and backlash of a worm gear, without elastically twisting an elastic body in a rotating direction, and to improve driver's steering feeling, while preventing early deterioration.SOLUTION: A shaft connection mechanism 1 includes a connection base 4 connected to a rotating shaft 2, a connection base 5 connected to a rotating shaft 3, and an elastic member 7 which is arranged in a gap 6 having a length L variable in an axial direction A, at least either between the connection base 4 and the rotating shaft 3 in the direction A or between the connection base 5 and the rotating shaft 3 in the direction A. |
