摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable speed control method and a variable speed control device for an electric vehicle, capable of reducing torsional vibration between an electric motor and a transmission or the transmission and a tire when switching between creep control and regenerative control, irrespective of engagement or disengagement a roller clutch at the current gear position.SOLUTION: A variable speed control method includes: a creep control process of performing creep control for driving an electric motor at a determined threshold when a torque command value to the electric motor becomes lower than the threshold; a regenerative control process S1 of performing regenerative control for performing the regeneration of the electric motor; and a switching process of alternately switching between the creep control and the regenerative control. When switching from the creep control to the regenerative control, for example, the switching process includes a gradual load removing process S2 of gradually removing torque of the electric motor to a determined torque threshold in terms of a load from when a regenerative control command is issued.
