PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a copper precursor, and a copper precursor produced thereby.SOLUTION: A method for producing a copper precursor includes a stage for producing an aqueous solution containing a copper salt or its hydrate, a stage for producing a mixture by mixing urea (CO(NH)) into the aqueous solution, and a stage for synthesizing a copper precursor by heating the mixture up to a temperature of 100-120°C.
