The method comprises providing a suspended candle above a dipping bath (2) with an immersion liquid (3), docking a pulling device to a bottom of the candle, pressing the candle into the dipping bath under the application of tensile force generated by the pulling device opposite to the immersion liquid, raising the candle from the dipping bath, and loosening the pulling device from the bottom of the candle. The pulling device is docked to a bottom surface of the candle. The pulling device comprises a vacuum suction cup, which is present in releasable suction contact with the candle. The method comprises providing a suspended candle above a dipping bath (2) with an immersion liquid (3), docking a pulling device to a bottom of the candle, pressing the candle into the dipping bath under the application of tensile force generated by the pulling device opposite to the immersion liquid, raising the candle from the dipping bath, and loosening the pulling device from the bottom of the candle.
