PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of enhancing convenience thereof.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an imaging part; a display; a rotation detection part; and a control part. The imaging part captures a photogenic subject and outputs the image data. The display can display an image from the image data, and can change the orientation of the display surface. The rotation detection part detects the orientation of the display surface of the display. The control part includes a photogenic subject detection part and a display control part. The photogenic detection part detects information for identifying a photogenic subject. The display control part determines whether the content to be displayed on the display should be vertically flipped or not depending on the detection information of the photogenic subject detection part and the detection result of the rotation detection part. |
