PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel capable of maintaining bearing performance over a long period of time, by improving sealing performance of a seal.SOLUTION: The bearing device has a cylindrical fitting part 14 for installing a cap 13 on the end part outer periphery of an outer member 2, and a bending part 16 extending radially inside from the one end part and set so that a diameter difference between the inner diameter and an end part inner diameter of the outer member 2 is 0.3 mm or more. A pocket part 17 is arranged on the road surface side of the bending part 16. A bottom part 17a is tapered so as to expand by a predetermined inclination. A gutter part 18 is formed in the axial direction. A distal end part is set so as to open closer to the inner side than a vehicle body installation flange 2b. A step part 19 is formed between a side surface 6c of a wheel installation flange 6 and a base part 6b. The inner edge of the bending part 16 is opposed via a radial gap of 0.3-3.0 mm. A labyrinth 20 is formed. |
