PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery simulator capable of evaluating a battery to be evaluated under conditions close to actually used environment, and having a fire extinguishing function without any need of a large-scale excitation device in such a case of installing, on an excitation base of the excitation device, a fire extinguishing tank having a size capable of submerging the battery.SOLUTION: A battery (10) to be evaluated is placed on an excitation base (21) of an excitation device (11), and use environment is reconstructed by exciting the excitation device. When an occurrence of a fire is recognized, a fire protection bulkhead (23) is lowered onto the excitation base (21) to fill a fire-extinguishing tank (25) constructed of the excitation base (21) and the fire protection bulkhead (23) with fire extinguisher liquid (47). Consequently, the fire is extinguished. |
