PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion control device capable of suppressing generation of smoke when an intake temperature or outside air temperature rises.SOLUTION: An injector control unit determines a fuel injection amount and a fuel injection timing of first time fuel injection and second time fuel injection on the basis of an engine speed and an engine load; and afterward, if an intake temperature is higher than a reference temperature, the control unit reduces the fuel injection amount of the second time fuel injection according to the intake temperature and the engine load, and increases the fuel injection amount in the first time fuel injection by an amount corresponding to the reduced amount. The control unit further delays the fuel injection timing of the first time and second time fuel injection according to the intake temperature and the engine load; and then the control unit controls each injector to sequentially carry out the first time and second time fuel injection. An EGR control unit controls an EGR valve to increase an air-fuel ratio (A/F) in a combustion chamber if the intake temperature is higher than the reference temperature. |
