<p>A connector coupling (100) that comprises a connector body (102), a first collar (204) rotatably coupled to the connector body (102) that has a plurality of teeth (404) extending from an inner surface (422) thereof, a second collar (206) that receives the first collar (204) and is movable axially with respect to the first collar (204). A ratchet ring (208) is supported by the connector body (102) and has a plurality of teeth (304) corresponding to the plurality of teeth (404) of the first collar (204). The ratchet ring (208) is axially moveable with respect to the connector body (102) between an engaged position and a disengaged position. A biasing member (210) is supported by the connector body (102) adjacent the ratchet ring (208). The biasing member (210) biases the ratchet ring (208) in the engaged position. The second set of teeth (304) of the ratchet ring (208) engage the first set of teeth (404) of the first collar (204) when the ratchet ring (208) is in the engaged position, and the second set of teeth (304) of the ratchet ring (208) are spaced from the first set of teeth (404) of the first collar (204) and the ratchet ring (208) engages the second collar (206) when the ratchet ring (208) is in the disengaged position.</p> |
