REMOTE CONTROL METHOD AND REMOTE CONTROLLER

Disclosed is a remote control method. The method is to apply control to remote control signals of a multi-function remote controller at least with a first remote control application and a second remote control application, including following multiple state transitions and each time controlling any one of the state transitions. According to a turn-on command, the multi-function remote controller is transited from a turn-off state to a full-power state. According to a turn-off command, the multi-function remote controller is transited to the turn-off state from any one of the full-power state, a dormant state and a semi-power state. According to a first command, the multi-function remote controller is transited to the dormant state from any one of the full-power state and the semi-power state. According to a second command, the multi-function remote controller is transited to the semi-power state from any one of the full-power state and the dormant state. Furthermore, a remote controller using the method is still provided. The remote control method and the remote controller with multi-level power consumption can have a good saving in power.
