A fan used for generating an air flow comprises a rack (3), an air flow generating device (2) disposed on the rack (3), and a nozzle (1) disposed on the air flow generating device (2), the rack (3) comprising internal hollow cavities (16a, 16b), an air flow inlet (13) communicating with the internal hollow cavity (16b), and an air flow outlet (14) communicating with the internal hollow cavity (16a), the air flow generating device (2) comprising an air inlet (12), the air flow inlet (13) communicating with atmosphere surrounding the fan, and the air flow outlet (14) communicating with the air inlet (12). As a distance between the air inlet of the air flow generating device and the surrounding atmosphere is relatively large, noises may be lowered. Further disclosed is a rack used for a fan. |
