PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that in the case of fabricating a gypsum molding, although a hemihydrate gypsum and water are mixed, and the slurry is cast in a predetermined mold and cured as a dihydrate gypsum, since a smaller amount of water mixed at this time more improves the strength of the molding, and by contrast, a too small amount of water gives no sufficient flowability to the slurry, the fabrication of the molding becomes difficult, and therefore, the case where the molding fabricated using a hemihydrate gypsum as a raw material has a limit to the strength of the molding.SOLUTION: A hemihydrate gypsum as a raw material is mixed with a type II anhydrous gypsum having a specific surface area of 1 to 10 m/g to thereby obtain a mixed powder containing the type II anhydrous gypsum in a proportion of 5 to 40 mass%. The mixed powder is mixed with water to thereby fabricate a slurry, whereby the flowability of the slurry in manufacture is good, and a high-strength gypsum molding can be manufactured from the slurry. |
