PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polarizing plate-integrated optical laminate, which can be made thin and can flatten a display screen of an image display device.SOLUTION: The polarizing plate-integrated optical laminate is disposed on a display screen side of an image display panel and comprises a polarizing element film and an optical laminate layered thereon. The optical laminate includes a light-transmitting substrate, a shielding layer formed in a frame shape along an outer periphery on an opposite surface of the light-transmitting substrate to the polarizing element film, a protective layer covering the shielding layer, and a hard coat layer disposed on the light-transmitting substrate and the protective layer. The light-transmitting substrate of the optical laminate is disposed on the polarizing element film.
