PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoconductive material which is improved in thermal conductivity, viscosity, heat resistance and electric insulation, a viscous sheet including a thermoconductive material layer comprised of the thermoconductive material, and an illumination instrument employing the thermoconductive material.SOLUTION: A thermoconductive material contains plate particles and viscous resins as essential components. In the thermoconductive material, sphere particles are contained in 500 pts.mass or less in 1 pts.mass of plate particles, and a total of plate particles and sphere particles in 100 pts.mass of (solid) viscous resins is 1 to 600 pts.mass. A viscous sheet is provided which includes on at least one side thereof a thermoconductive material layer comprised of the thermoconductive material. An illumination instrument includes a substrate 2 in which a light-emitting device 1 is mounted and a radiator 4 and in the illumination instrument, a thermoconductive material layer 3 comprised of the thermoconductive material is interposed between the substrate 2 and the radiator 4. |
