PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly and reliably transmit rotational torque from an inner ring or interrupt rotational torque from an output shaft.SOLUTION: A clutch unit comprises: a lever-side clutch part for controlling transmission and interruption of rotational torque input by a lever operation; and a brake-side clutch part 12 for transmitting rotational torque from the lever-side clutch part to an output side and for interrupting rotational torque reverse-input from the output side. The brake-side clutch part 12 includes: an inner ring 15 to which the rotational torque from the lever-side clutch part is input; a brake-side outer ring 23 with restricted rotation; an output shaft 22, which outputs rotational torque; an engaging element 27, which is arranged between the brake-side outer ring 23 and the output shaft 22 and which interrupts the rotational torque from the output shaft 22 by engagement and transmits the rotational torque from the inner ring 15 by disengagement; and a coil spring 28 and a cam 29, which engage the engaging element 27 by meshing in concave-convex parts 23a, 27a on interrupting the rotational torque and disengage the engaging element 27 by releasing meshing in the concave-convex parts 23a, 27a on transmitting the rotational torque. |
