PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector that allows power supply to be turned-on in association with other projector with low power consumption without an additional terminal, and further to provide a projector system or the like.SOLUTION: A second projector PJ2 is configured so as to be able to be connected to a first projector PJ1 via a USB cable including a VBUS wire. The second projector PJ2 includes: an image projection section 110that modulates and projects light emitted from a light source; a USB communication section 160for detecting power supply by the first projector PJ1 via a VBUS in a standby state; and a control section 120that performs control for switching an operation state of the second projector PJ2 to the standby state or a normal operation state. When detecting the power supply of the VBUS by the USB communication section 160, the control section 120activates the second projector PJ2 by switching the operation state from the standby state to the normal operation state. |
