PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device having a charging system that suppresses the power consumption of power storage means in an overcharge prevention circuit to zero.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device includes a charging system including: power generation means for supplying power; power storage means for storing the power from the power generation means; switching means provided on a charge path for charging the power from the power generation means to the power storage means; a comparator for compering a reference voltage driven by the power from the power generation means with the power storage voltage of the power storage means; and a level converter provided between the comparator and the switching means, level-converting the determination result of the comparator from a generation voltage to the power storage voltage, and transmitting the voltage level to the switching means.
