According to the present invention, provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery in which a non-aqueous electrolyte including an overcharge additive is supplied. In a pore distribution curve which is measured with a mercury porosimeter, a positive electrode laminate layer which configures a positive electrode of the non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery has a peak (A) of a differential pore capacity in a pore diameter range of 0.05-2µm and a peak (B) which is located further toward the small pore diameter side than the peak (A). The pore distribution curve further has a minimum (C) whereat the differential pore capacity is at a minimum value between the peak (A) and the peak (B). A ratio (XC/XL) between a differential pore capacity (XL) which is the greater of a differential pore capacity (XA) of the peak (A) or a differential pore capacity (XB) of the peak (B) and a differential pore capacity (XC) of the minimum (C) is 0.6 or greater.
