<p>The present invention relates to a method for applying a network load reduction policy according to a data limit, the method comprising: a step, in a policy server, for linking and storing, in a storage medium, identification information about a wireless terminal device and identification information about a policy agent that is provided to the wireless terminal device; a step, in the policy server, for verifying, by means of the storage medium, the policy agent identification information that corresponds to the identification information for a wireless terminal device of a user who has exceeded a data limit; a step, in the policy server, for carrying out processing such that network use suspension policy information is transmitted to the verified policy agent; a step for suspending the network connection for all the remaining applications, among a plurality of applications using the network, other than applications which correspond to pre-set identification information for applications which are permitted to use the network, on the basis of the network use suspension policy information in the policy agent; a step for carrying out processing in the policy server, if the data limit of a wireless terminal device of a user who has exceeded the data limit is restored, such that network use suspension-release policy information is transmitted to the policy agent; and a step, in the policy agent, for releasing the network connection suspension for applications on the basis of the received network use suspension-release policy information.</p> |
