<p>Disclosed is a seal assembly, a drive disk, a flange unit and a method therefor. The seal assembly provides axial and/or angular flexibility of a shaft. In particular the disclosure relates to a seal assembly, such as a double seal assembly, comprising a drive mechanism, the drive mechanism comprising a drive disk (15) provided with a plurality of ears (34) extending from an outer surface (32) in a radial direction away from a centre of the drive disk (15) and the plurality of ears (34) preferably being equidistantly distributed along an outer surface (32) of the drive disk (15); and a flange unit (12), provided with a plurality of slots (36) at an inner surface (38) of the flange unit (12), the plurality of slots (36) extending along the inner surface (38) in an axial direction of the flange unit (12) and the plurality of slots (36) preferably being equidistantly distributed along the inner surface (38); and wherein each of the ears (34) is adapted to matingly engage with a corresponding slot (36) for providing axial and/or angular flexibility of a shaft in relation to a wall.</p> |
