PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for a throw-in block for a mail box capable of being attached and detached with a simple structure and simple operation when rejecting throwing of such as advertisement leaflets to the mail box of an empty house for a long period of time and vacant house or the like.SOLUTION: An instrument for a throw-in block for holding a slot of a mail box in a throw-in inhibited state includes: a magnet structure formed of a magnet supporting member 22 housing a magnet molded body 21; a restraining member 1 movably connected to the magnet structure; a body formed of a blocking member 14 vertically connected to a leading end part of the restraining member 1; a magnetically attaching fixing member magnetically attachable to the magnet structure; and a mounting and fixing member for fixing and holding one face of a magnet fixing member onto an inner wall surface. The body of an instrument for a throw-in block is attachable and detachable.
