Provided is a cleaning device in which even if clogging occurs in a filter, said clogging does not obstruct the circulation of cleaning liquid or cause cleaning liquid to overflow from a cleaning plate. The cleaning device comprises: a cleaning plate that receives a part of a small electrical appliance that requires cleaning; a container for storing cleaning liquid that is supplied into the cleaning plate during cleaning of the part; a cleaning liquid supply means that supplies the cleaning liquid for use in the cleaning plate to the cleaning plate; an overflow path that returns the portion of cleaning liquid that has overflowed from inside of the cleaning plate to the container; and a filter. The overflow path is configured from a first overflow path for passing the cleaning liquid through the filter and returning the filtered cleaning liquid to the container, and a second overflow path for returning the cleaning liquid to the container without passing the cleaning liquid through the filter.
