The cap (10) has a base body (12) formed by a multi-component part, where the cap is manufactured by injection molding method i.e. multi-component injection molding method. The base body comprises two locking elements (14) and a ceiling element (18), which are formed of various materials i.e. various plastics, where elastic modulus of plastic of the locking elements is higher than that of the plastic of the ceiling element. The locking elements are made of resilient material to withstand high withdrawal force against a fitting direction (30). An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an end cap for a wiping blade.
