This water-resistant connector comprises: one housing (10) wherein one terminal fitting (30) is housed; and another housing (40) comprising an open-front hood section (42) to which the one housing (10) is fitted, and having housed therein another terminal fitting (60) that connects to the one terminal fitting (30) and is housed in a state such that the connection end (61) side thereof is caused to protrude inside the hood section (42). The inner diameter dimension (Y) on the opening end side of the hood section (42) is set smaller than the outer diameter dimension (X) of the one housing (10) and a guiding surface (57) that guides the one housing (10) inside the hood section (42) is formed in at least one of either the inner peripheral edge of the opening end of the hood section (42) or the outer peripheral edge of the fitting end surface of the one housing (10).
