PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cell culture substrate that can differentiate multipotent stem cells into cardiomyocytes without needing IGFBP of high concentration, and a method for cell culture using the cell culture substrate, and a method for differential induction of multipotent stem cells.SOLUTION: A cell culture substrate is characterized in that polypeptide comprising the whole or partial region of protein that belongs to an insulin-like growth factor binding protein (IGFBP) family, or fusion protein containing the whole or part of the protein belonging to the insulin-like growth factor binding protein family is fixed or coated onto the surface.
