PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a footrest for a bed that is attached to a bed, on which a patient lies, when needed without the need for the patient to move his/her body on his/her own so that preventive measures against talipes equinus can be taken.SOLUTION: A footrest 1 for beds is configured as follows. A pair of support members 5 is freely detachably fixed to a sole at both ends in the bed width direction. Therefore, the footrest 1 for beds is attached to a bed, on which a patient lies, when preventive measures against talipes equinus is needed so that the preventive measures against talipes equinus for the patient can be taken. Furthermore, a pair of rotating members 7 and a pair of rotation receiving members 6 of the footrest 1 for beds are rotated relative to each other, thereby adjusting the angle of a contact plate 2. The pair of rotating members 7 is moved along a pair of guides 33 formed on the rear surface of the contact plate 2, thereby adjusting the position in the bed height direction of the contact plate 2. Thus, it allows the patient to contact the bottoms of his/her feet with the contact plate 2 according to the angle of the patient's ankles. |
