PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a vacuum cleaner without imparting trouble to operation of other electrical equipment by exceeding power consumption during operation of the vacuum cleaner.SOLUTION: A method for controlling a vacuum cleaner exchanges information on a predicted use power amount between a collective control means 31 formed of: a power consumption measuring means 34 for measuring a power amount domestically used; a power margin determination means 33 for determining the margin of the power; and a domestic home server having a master communication means 35, and the vacuum cleaner 1 including: a required power determination means 18 for predicting and determining the power amount to be used; a slave communication means 21 for communicating with the master communication means 35; and a cleaner control means 20 for feeding back the communication result, and feeds back to the operation control of a vacuum cleaner 1. The state of the used power can be confirmed between the vacuum cleaner 1 and the collective control means 31 and thereby, capable of determining whether or not a beaker is shut off before operation and not damaging the use of other electrical equipment. |
