PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine system enhancing pulverization of deposit, while suppressing a load on a valve.SOLUTION: An engine system comprises: a lift range changing mechanism capable of changing a lift range of a valve opening and closing a port of an engine; a set load changing mechanism biasing the port so that the valve is closed and capable of changing a set load of a spring having the maximum value of biasing force when the valve is at the maximum position in the lift range; and a control part executing processing for controlling the lift range changing mechanism and the set load changing mechanism so that the lift range is set other than the maximum and the set load is set other than the minimum. |
