PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a memory card which prevents a memory card at a non regular attitude from moving to a position where the memory card creates electrical continuity with a contact without rotating the memory card, has a simple structure, and reduces its entire height.SOLUTION: A connector for a memory card includes: a stopper switching leaf spring 68 including a pressed part 72; and a stopper 71 which allows a slider to move to a pressed position when the stopper switching leaf spring is positioned in a stopper invalid position and restricts the slider from moving from an initial position when the stopper switching leaf spring is positioned in a stopper valid position. When the stopper switching leaf spring is in a free state, the stopper switching leaf spring and the stopper are positioned closer to the housing part side relative to a surface of a housing. |
