PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the state of a housing without providing special magnets.SOLUTION: A slide type portable phone includes: multiple housings; a first plate 11, a second plate 12, and a rail guide 13 which connect the multiple housings so that the multiple housings move relative to each other; and wiring 23 movably connected so as to make electric connections between the multiple housings. The wiring 23 is formed by a magnetic material and includes a magnetic sensor detecting the magnetism of the magnetic material resulting from movement of the wiring 23 which are caused by relative movement of the multiple housings.
