PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a holding device which can clamp a target article and release its clamping or open both clamping parts that is the essential movement of clamping easily and surely without needing large force.SOLUTION: When closing operation parts C2 being opened are pushed down, the front end side of a movable clamping body C turns upward, and space between the movable clamping part C1 and a fixed clamping part B1 is moved into a closed state, and so a target article can be clamped. In the closed state, an urging member D including compression coil springs shrinks, both outward projecting parts F1 of spring member F fits to a closed engaging part B4 to maintain the closed state. When both lower end portions of release member E are pushed inside at the same time, both release projecting parts E1 release both outward projecting parts F1 of the spring member F from the respective closed engaging parts B4, and by urging force of the urging member D, the front end side of the movable clamping body C turn down relative to a fixed clamping body B, and so the open state is performed. |
