PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle front hood which can satisfactorily absorb impact upon collision and can alleviate an impact load to a body to be collided with, even while increase in the weight and cost of the vehicle front hood is minimized.SOLUTION: A vehicle front hood 100 includes: a hood outer panel 110 constituting an outer surface of a front hood; a hood inner panel 120 constituting an inner surface of the front hood; an exterior member 130 of an air intake shape; and an interior member 140 attached to the inner surface of the exterior member. The interior member has ribs 144a, 144b erected toward the vehicle body rear side from the back side of a wall surface part 140a of the interior member, the longitudinal vehicle-direction length of the ribs is more extended to the vehicle body rear side in a portion where an interval between the hood inner panel and the front edge of a structure arranged within an engine room is less than a predetermined distance than in a portion where the interval is the predetermined distance or more in the cross-section view seeing from the vehicle body lateral side. |
