The method involves producing accurate description of an environment of motor car using image captured by a camera system of camera-based driver assistance system. The picture of real traffic and environmental situation and picture of real object are recorded and stored in image database. The stored pictures in the image database are processed to form composite realistic representation of environment. The composite realistic representation of environment is output by an output device.
