IN-MOLD LABELS AND A LABELED CONTAINER

The present invention addresses the problem of creating a label for in-mold molding capable of providing high-grade attachment to the wide area of a surrounding wall including a three-dimensional curved surface area of a synthetic resin container without the formation of air-pockets or wrinkles. The main means for addressing the problem is to have an adhesion layer adhered to the surrounding wall of the container body in the label for in-mold molding which is used as an insert material and is attached to the surrounding wall of the container body at the same time the synthetic resin container body is molded. On the rear surface of the adhesion layer are embossed recessed portions that are regularly patterned. The average depth of the recessed portions is set within the range of 0.02 to 0.1 mm and the average number of the recessed portions per 1 cm2 on the label surface area is set within the range of 25 to 2500. Furthermore, the total spatial volume of recessed portions per 1cm2 on the label surface area is set within the range of 0.001 to 0.005 cm3.
