Method and machine for manufacturing a pinch sack

The bag (18) has a bag body with a tubular piece, where the bag is partly formed from plastic material web. A pinch base (55) is located at an end (50) of the tubular piece. A part of the plastic material web is stretched and the pinch base is fixed by a heat-induced joining process. A part of the stretched plastic material web comprises polyolefin fabric. The heat-induced joining process is selected from one of sealing process or a welding process. The pinch base comprises a base cover. An end of the tubular piece is heated by a hot air pipe. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for producing a pinch bag from packaging material (2) a device for producing pinch bags, comprising a station for formation of a pinch base.
