<p>The invention relates to a universal driver for the control of unipolar stepper motors. According to the invention, the driver aims at controlling a unipolar stepper motor () of variable power, the drive windings () of the motor () being controlled by a power module () which receives commands from a microcontroller (), as follows: an analogue command by means of a digital-to-analogue converter () and a digital command, on four control lines (), the microcontroller () being provided with an included analogue-to-digital converter and being capable to measure, by means of a connection (), the voltage drop in proportion with the value of the current absorbed by the motor () on some resistors (), the microcontroller () being also interfaced with a keyboard and an LCD device () and with a converter () of the type RS 485 or RS 232, the microcontroller (), the converter () and the display () being supplied by means of a stabilizer in commutation (), while the motor () is supplied by means of a generator () of constant current from a source () of rectified and filtered voltage, which is supplied, in its turn, from an electric network.</p> |
