<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The installation (1) has an elevator cage carrier (2) that is located in a travel space (3). The two elevator cages (15, 16) are arranged at the elevator cage carrier. The hydraulic adjusting elements (20, 21, 32, 33) adjusted the elevator cages relative to the elevator cage carrier respectively. A stroke of one hydraulic adjusting element is converted into a stroke of another hydraulic adjusting element in different directions. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Double-decker elevator installation in building. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The undesired movement of the elevator cages towards one another can be prevented. Thus the high level of operational safety can be achieved. The special safety brake or brake devices is not required to stop the elevator cages relative to the elevator cage carrier. Thus the robust and simplified structure is achieved with improved structural stability of the adjusting elements.
