PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently concentrating tocopherol and/or tocotrienol from oil-and-fat containing small amounts of tocopherol and/or tocotrienol while preventing the lowering quality without using a distillation process causing the thermal degradation of the quality. SOLUTION: The method for the concentration of tocopherol and/or tocotrienol comprises a step of performing the alkali-treatment of oil-and-fat containing tocopherol and/or tocotrienol and a step of performing the fractionating extraction of the obtained alkali-treated liquid with a mixed solution containing hexane, ethanol, acetone and water, to remove the saponified product.
