Treating cellulosic materials for making paper, cardboard or paper pulp, comprises adding one or more enzymes having an activity in the treatment of the cellulosic materials, and inhibiting the enzyme activity, where the optional inhibition of the enzyme activity is reversible, when the fabrication of the paper, cardboard or pulp is interrupted, and the fabrication is carried out by the addition of a phosphonate compound. An independent claim is included for a kit for implementing the process, comprising one or more enzymes and a phosphonate. |
