PURPOSE: An imaging device, a processing method and a recording medium thereof are provided to easily control an image check after taking a photo. CONSTITUTION: A touch panel (6b) is displayed on a monitor screen. A control unit (1) determines whether a touch to operate the touch panel exists while a photographed image is being displayed for a given amount of time on the monitor screen after a photo is taken by an imaging unit. If a touch to operate the touch panel exists while an image is being displayed, the control unit determines a state of the touch operation. The control unit controls a display method of the image according to the state of the touch operation.
