<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method of discharging droplets, capable of making stripe irregularities inconspicuous to suppress the decline of image quality and being excellent in production efficiency, and a method of manufacturing a color filter. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus of discharging droplets includes: a plurality of droplet discharge heads 5 provided with a plurality of nozzles, a plurality of driving elements and a diaphragm; a supply reel 12 for supplying a sheet member 15; a winding reel 13; an imaging apparatus 14; an analysis means 32 for obtaining the distribution of the discharge amount of functional liquid; and a control means 31 for adjusting a voltage to be applied to the driving elements so that the discharge amount in the plurality of nozzles approaches a prescribed appropriate amount from the distribution. The control means 31 applies a driving voltage to the driving elements so as to equalize all the temperatures of the respective droplet discharge heads 5 after discharging the functional liquid for the prescribed number of times of discharge at a first interval from the respective nozzles of the respective droplet discharge heads 5 on the basis of the data of temperature rise in the case of discharging the functional liquid for the prescribed number of times of the discharge at the first interval from the respective nozzles of the respective droplet discharge heads 5, and vibrates the diaphragm to generate heat. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
