摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for smelting a lead-containing steel by which a lead can uniformly be melted and dispersed by adding the lead into molten steel by a wire additional method while gas-stirring the molten steel in a ladle. <P>SOLUTION: In the additional method of the lead into the molten steel, by which the lead is added by blowing an inert gas into the molten steel in the ladle from the bottom part of the ladle, and charging an iron-made wire incorporating powdery lead-containing material containing 2-10 mass% calcium-carbonate having &le;0.6 mm grain diameter into a formed bloom zone. (violent stirring zone). In the additional method of the lead, the inequality of V&ge;1,630-90&times;X-6.2&times;Y-1.7&times;Z (wherein, V is molten steel temperature before charging the iron-made wire, X is C content in the molten steel, Y is Si content and Z is Mn content therein) is satisfied. As the iron-made wire, it is desirable that the iron-made wire incorporating the powdery lead-containing material into a square tube having (15-17 mm)&times;(7.0-8.0 mm) outer cross sectional size and 0.3-0.5 mm thickness is used, and the lead is charged into the molten steel at the lead-conversion charging rate of 0.4-0.7 kg/(min&times;t-molten steel). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
