摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of supplied hydrogen donor and the amount of generated surplus sludge in biological wastewater treatment. <P>SOLUTION: Water to be treated is introduced into a hermetically closed conditioning tank 4, and the hydrogen donor is supplied to the water to be treated. The water to be treated is discharged to the outside of the conditioning tank 4, and the water to be treated, discharged to the outside of the conditioning tank 4 is introduced into a reaction tank 6 which accommodates a microorganism sludge bed 9 containing granularly flocculated microorganisms and is hermetically closed. The water to be treated is raised to form an upward flow in the reaction tank 6, and discharged to the outside of the reaction tank 6 as treated water. A part of the treated water discharged to the outside of the reaction tank 6 is returned into the conditioning tank 4, whereby the dissolved oxygen concentration of the water to be treated is reduced to reduce the consumption of the hydrogen donor and the generation of the surplus sludge accompanied by absorption of dissolved oxygen. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p>
