PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an eraser with a cover in which the generation of staining or discoloration before use can be prevented from occurring only with the eraser cover made of a paper without greatly increasing the manufacturing cost, and a cover unnecessary section for exposing a necessary section of the eraser body for use can be easily cut off at starting of the use. SOLUTION: This eraser 10 with the cover includes the eraser body 11, and the cover which covers the eraser body 11. In the eraser 10 with the cover, the cover 12 has a cylindrical body which covers the total outer peripheral surface of the eraser body 11 prior to use. On the cylindrical body, a cutting-off means for exposing the section required for the use of the eraser body 11 at starting of use is installed. The cutting-off means is constituted of an annular cut 15 which is installed in a direction orthogonal to the opening direction of the cylindrical body, a window hole extending in the using side opening direction of the cylindrical body of the eraser body which communicates with the annular cut 15, and a cut line which is formed in a manner to be connected with the using side opening from the window hole.
